“I thought you needed me.”

“Okay.”
“Yes!” Heart waved her son up to join her.
“Um. Okay.” Alex stepped somewhat gingerly onto his mom’s bed.
“Hurray!” She grabbed his hands and started jumping around again.
“Um. Yeah,” Alex said, as soon as they stopped jumping around. “Okay, what are we gonna do?”
“I don’t know,” Heart said, thinking. “What do you wanna do?”
“I don’t know.”
“Movies?”
“Okay.”
